Two people, a lab, and everything we've tried
One of us builds. The other does the business. We started making side projects meant to be useful beyond the person writing them. Before shipping anything real, we spent eight months just learning. We still don't know exactly where vzla.io is going, so we run it as an exploratory tech lab: we build what we believe in, with or without a market. This page is that story, told in order.
Gasolina Today
Our first app. Gas station queues in Venezuela could last hours. Gasolina Today showed you the wait before leaving home, and once you were in line it kept you informed like a navigator: distance to the pump, speed of the queue, time left. By the time our MVP was ready, queues had gone from hours to minutes. The problem died before the launch. The app never met the public, and we moved on.
Quantis
Quantis was born from a Gasolina Today feature. At the pump we kept getting charged more than we should — totals rounded up in the worker's favor. So we built a calculator that knows the local rates. It grew into the exchange-rate app for Venezuela: official BCV rates and the next day's rate, crypto and Binance P2P averages, bank rates, the banking holiday calendar, full history, and real-time alerts. Made for moments of pressure: open, calculate, done.

Payment Methods
Every payment here starts the same way: dictating account numbers, phone numbers, and ID, again and again. Payment Methods keeps them all in one place — bank accounts, mobile payments, Binance, Zelle, PayPal, Wise — and shares them as text, image, or QR code. It also imports methods automatically from a text or a QR.
VeriTrust
With the economy under stress, scams were everywhere. VeriTrust is our attempt at prevention: check a link before you trust it. Today it scans URLs against Google Safe Browsing and VirusTotal.
Nódulo
Blocking a bad link is not enough if you never learn how the scams work. Nódulo is a news aggregator focused on cybersecurity and personal privacy. The idea is simple: people who stay informed are harder to scam.
Dora: washing machines door-to-door
We wanted to try something beyond pure software: combine it with physical work. Dora rents washing machines by the day — delivered to your door, picked up when you're done.

Cash Recording
Buying cash — dollars or euros — came with its own scam: after the deal, someone claims they were handed a fake bill. Cash Recording stores each cash transaction with photos, amounts, and banknote serial numbers. Fewer claims, fewer disputes. Made for merchants and anyone who moves cash.
Split Bill
This one the community asked for. Split Bill divides a bill between people, equally or with custom amounts. If someone covers another person's share, the app remembers the debt — so it doesn't get lost after dinner.
World Cup 2026
Not everything has to come from a problem. World Cup 2026 is a live tracker for the tournament: standings, fixtures, results, top scorers, the knockout bracket, and every venue. All 104 matches of the 48-team format, in 14 languages.

Dress Docs
Sending a document usually means sending too much. Dress Docs covers what shouldn't show in your PDFs and images, strips the hidden metadata, and gives you a clean file in about 30 seconds. Everything runs in your browser tab — your document is never uploaded.

A different kind of privacy. Balance is a harm-reduction app for logging your own substance use: cooldowns, washout periods, and your personal patterns. Private by default, informed instead of judged — so choices are deliberate, not blind.

Cripto Alert
The scam fight got personal. Cripto Alert is a live, public forensic investigation into the "ASM-Share" USDT pig-butchering scam: it follows the stolen crypto on-chain, through layered laundering wallets, to identity-verified Binance accounts — and lets victims report their case in minutes.

United for Venezuela. Terremoto follows earthquake activity in Venezuela and puts the information in one place, live on the web.

CrediPan
Lending money to friends and family is common here — and so is losing track of it. CrediPan is a small accounting system for personal loans: who you lent to, how much, when they paid, and what is still open. The awkward conversation, replaced by a clean record.
Operación Teseo
Our strangest experiment. Operación Teseo is an analytical model of chavista archetypes: pick an archetype and have a conversation with it. Part political anthropology, part engineering exercise — we wanted to understand a discourse by modeling it.
404 Birthday
Your memory crashed again — we get it. 404 Birthday keeps every birthday on your phone: import them from your contacts or add them by hand, see what's coming up, and stop being the friend who 'just remembered' three days late. Completely offline, stored locally and encrypted. No accounts, no cloud, no ads, no drama. We don't judge — we just remind.
What we're building now
We stopped building only products and started building the thing that builds them. Inside vzla.io we are assembling OPO — one-person operation: our product factory, an agentic system where AI agents carry an idea from spec to shipped software, web and mobile, with two humans directing the line.
